We have just received a self referred enquiry from a lady who has Charcot Marie Tooth disease  which manifests itself in her having badly deformed feet and she already has specially made insoles in her shoes to help her to walk. This is a progressive disease and she now needs new insoles plus ankle supports and to make anything suitable is beyond any skills we have in Merseyside.

Has anyone had a similar experience and can offer help/advice?

  1. Surely this lady should be referred to her local orthotics department who are the specialists in this area.
