We have recently heard from Oliver Kitson, co-founder of Steadimounts.com.
We’re a new startup specialising in robust, easy-to-use device mounts for wheelchairs and mobility equipment, and we’ve just launched our first product – SteadiArm – with the goal of creating a universal mount that can be mounted quickly to almost any type of wheelchair, mobility scooter, or buggy. SteadiArm can be installed and adjusted without any tools, and supports a range of interchangeable universal device holders. A wide range of smartphones, tablets, and cameras can be attached to SteadiArm.
I’ve also been gathering a lot of feedback as to the requirements for alternative mounting solutions as well, and the recurring theme is “something that can be easily moved in and out of position”. So for the last 6 months I’ve been developing a mounting arm to do just this, that is compatible with all of our existing device holders and base clamp options (and more). This is in the working prototype phase, so if this is something those who your organisation assists may be interested in, then we’d love to show REMAP and get some feedback.
Do you think our products (and future products) may be of interest to your clients?
You can find more information about SteadiArm at our website – and if you’re interested I’d be happy to provide a sample for evaluation, and answer any questions you may have. Thank your time.
