The Remapedia is in the process of being moved to a new platform which will make entering jobs much easier.  To speed this process up I’m looking for help from :-

a.  Anyone with any experience of Joomla.

b.  Anyone prepared to help with extracting some of the existing project information and rewriting and reformatting it to suit the new platform.

Please get in touch directly (peter@remapsherts.org.uk or 01442 212855 ) if you can help.

The software behind the Remapedia is being upgraded at the moment and some restructuring is going on to make it easier to use.  It will probably be off-line until the weekend.

News from the Remapedia

As most of you will be aware the Remapedia is being developed as Remap’s primary source of information for health professionals, potential clients and Panel members.  Broadly it divides into two, a list of jobs we have done and a “members area” which is of more interest to Remap members.

Currently no registration is required to read any part of the Remapedia, only to be able to enter information on it.

There is already a reasonable amount of information on the Remapedia of interest to members – in particular the links to the superb National Science Foundation project books, lists of useful suppliers and notes on photography (including the Remap client permission request) VAT on purchases and Polymorph – a very useful low temperature thermoplastic.

The user instructions have also recently been updated.
